National Law Enforcement Foundation (NLEF) was founded by recently retired San Diego Detectives to directly help agencies address the recruiting and retaining crisis. Board of Directors was created with Chris Gober and Chief of Police David Nisleit.

Idaho State Police- Idaho State Police asked for help in building a coalition and effort for Idaho, specifically the Treasure Valley, which is the Boise region. NLEF Received 501c3 status.

Published an article highlighting the San Diego Police Officers Association’s project led by NLEF’s Executive Director.
October 2022
Treasure Valley Law Enforcement Coalition is created bringing together the region's LE agencies funded by the Simplot Company.
Presented for Major Cities Chiefs Association. Alerted America's Chiefs, there is a way to retain officers while helping women promote and make agencies attractive to recruits, but we need to create public/private partnerships.

NLEF partners with Denver & St. Louis County PD. Develop plans to secure funding for FY2024.

Pivotal moment for St. Louis County Police! NLEF announces partnership with the Michael and Noémi Neidorff Family Foundation to provide the critical $1.5 million in matching funds to break ground on St. Louis County Center encouraging an additional $1,500,000 in private philanthropic support.
